Gopāla gokula vallabhī priya, Gopa Gosuta vallabham
Charaṇāravindam Ahaṃ Bhaje, Bhajanīya Sura-muni-durlabham ||
O Gopala! Beloved of the damsels of Gokula! Lord of the cowherds, cows and calves!
I worship his lotus feet, which even the Devas and the Rishis find difficult of attainment!
The one with darkish blue complexion, Who has the splendour of countless cupids, Who delights the worlds
Who is so beautiful as to attract the minds of all, Who wears yellow silken cloth, Who is endowed with many good qualities and Who is most compassionate
