9 Tips For A Healthier And Happier New Year 2014

  1. Run daily – I am not suggesting you workout, do bench press or dumbbells etc, just walk or run every morning. It pumps up your energy, rejuvenates you and keeps you active all day.
  2. Sleep well – Today researchers say 5 hours of sleep is good, tomorrow they say 8 hours is a must. In my opinion what they think doesn’t matter, just sleep for however long feels right to you and gives your body and mind good rest.
  3. Eat well – Try to maintain a good routine, breakfast by 9, lunch by 12 dinner by 7. Avoid 3 white poisons, sugar, salt and flours.
  4. Avoid situations and people that cause stress (it’s not only possible, it’s necessary) – Starting this moment consciously try to not get into situations or people who cause unnecessary stress in your life. If possible, fire them now forever.
  5. Let go – Don’t cling onto everything that happens in your life. Most things, people and events are supposed to be just witnessed and forgotten, very few should be remembered forever.
  6. Spend time with kids, family and friends – There is nothing more meaningful and relaxing than spending time with people/pets who care about you. Chat up with your spouse, parent, sibling or a good friend. Play with your dog, your kids or nephew or niece whenever possible.
  7. Do something for others – Try to provide food, courage, advice, money, inspiration or your time to someone in need. Nothing better to make your life blossom.
