Satyanshu Singh :
Satyanshu Singh hails from a family with a rich artistic background. He is from a small town called Munger, in the state of Bihar, India. As a child he had a very versatile and deep taste in music, literature, performing arts and movies. After high school, Satyanshu went to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for a graduation degree in Medicine. He ultimately decided not to pursue medicine and moved to Mumbai to begin his career as a filmmaker. Before leaving medical school, he made an 85-minute movie on his schoolmates, the entire cast and crew were medical students. In June 2008, he joined his brother Devanshu who was working as an Assistant Director. Several of Satyanshu"s friends helped him with this important transition. Since then, Satyanshu has been working in Mumbai where he writes, directs and teaches cinema, with Devanshu. His works include writing poems and stories for Udaan(2010) and lyrics for the song "Life yeh Mausambi-si" in Ferrari Ki Sawaari(2011). Satyanshu and Devanshu made a Kashmiri short film named "Tamaash" (The Puppet) which won awards at various film festivals across the globe. Satyanshu Singh is also an extensive blogger and his blog Cinema is Forever! has won a lot of credit to his name.
Devanshu Singh :
Devanshu is a National Award winning filmmaker with a wide range of experience across writing, direction, and production. Apart from co-creating the multiple award-winning short film Tamaash, Devanshu and his brother Satyanshu Singh have also penned lyrics for the indie Sulemani Keeda (2014) and Vidhu Vinod Chopra"s Ferrari Ki Sawaari (2012). The poems featured in Vikramaditya Motwane"s cult classic Udaan (2010) were written by them. Devanshu has been directing several lauded digital content pieces and ad films in collaboration with reputed brands and leading Indian digital creators, including AIB, OLX, Kissan, Manyavar and more. He directed the Shree Ganesh Apnepan Ka film for Brooke Bond Red Label and Flush Ke Baad for BBC which garnered immense praise. He recently completed post production on his feature debut - Chintu Ka Birthday with Satyanshu Singh.
